French Dragoons


these are a small part of an army that i paint for Chris end of last year
The figures were AB minatures

still had the helmet cover to do on the middle fellow ( hope i did It)

  4. Galpy I noticed on these AB Dragoons that the saddle trim was white, I was leaning towards Iyanden Darksun. Should they be white or Yellow? I am doing the 5th and 15th Dragoons...fyi.

  5. I'm no expert but on page 11 of osprey Napoleons Dragoons and lancers. I say That horse cloth of middle green fabric edged with white lace 45mm wide. I can't find any reference to it being changed. Hope this helps

  6. Ok, I looked through my "big" book of Napoleonic Uniforms I reviewed slightly on my website and it lacked that specific info. On some plates I have seen it looks yellow/gold and on others it looks silver/white. I think the yellow/gold would look better but I will go with what you did as a ref. I do not have a French Dragoon book and you do so that's what I will go with. Thanks mate.
