15mm Thebian xyston commission

Well here's the thebian infantry ready to make some trouble on the feilds of glory.
I've been given a very clear brief of how all these figures are to be painted and as i look at these photo i see that i need to repaint the brass on the scalebs they are ment to be metal colour.
the photos below once again show the stages of how this figure was painted.
I've started the next 6 Generals and then onto the last 7 cav

  1. Talk about impressive!!! I can not believe you go through all this trouble on 15mm, I would only really go to this much trouble for 28mm. Although for my French Nappies I am using dark and light blue for dark and highlights. It appears however that you are using 3 colors or more...

  3. I use at least 3 colours, you'll find that the colours really pop on the table and your figures will stand out and be noticed even if there are lots of different figures on the table. And reaaly whats one more layer. I use the same technque( if thats how you spell it) on both 15mm and 28mm just not with the flesh
